Baking Soda & Vinegar

If you are in hurry and want to get rid of this problem as soon as possible than you might want to try pouring a mixture of baking soda & vinegar. Make a mixture with proportion of 50% baking soda and 50% vinegar and pour it in your drain and cover the top with a stopper on any thing else you can use. Wait for 40 to 50 minutes and remove the stopper. Drop the water in your drain with pressure. It will clean your drain and remove any blockage that is clogging your drain.

Dish Detergent with Hot Water

You can use dish detergent to unclog your drain. Pour 1 cup of dish detergent in a bowl and boil 1-liter water. Mix boiling water with dish detergent and drop it in your drain. The detergent along with boiling water will work as a lubricant. It will break the blockage in your drain. Drop a lot of water immediately after this so that the greasy residue that are blocking your drain break into pieces.

Salt and Baking Soda

Mixture of half cup of baking soda and salt is a quick solution. Pour it in your drain and wait for 20 30 minutes. Boil some water and drop it in your drain. It will work like an acid and remove any blockage that is causing the trouble for you.

Caustic Soda

You can buy it from any hardware store. It is also known as Sodium Hydroxide. If all of other methods are not working and you are still facing the issue than you should try caustic soda. Use precautions before using it as it can cause heavy chemical burns. Use gloves and eye protection. Take 3 or 4 gallons of water and pour 3 cups of caustic soda. Boil it and put it in the draining pipe and it will solve the problem for you. We don’t recommend this method. Use this method only if all other methods are not working for you.
